Dormintion fast - August 1, 2026
On the first day of the Dormition Fast, August 1, Fr. Aleksey performed the service of a Lesser Blessing of the Waters, prayed the Supplication Service to the Mother of God, and blessed honey.
"I know that you are the intercessor of my life, O Virgin, my Steadfast Protectress, healing the rebellions of temptations and scattering the plots of demons. I pray constantly that you will deliver me from my destructive passions."
