Vice President oath of office - August 30, 2026

On Sunday, August 30, after being elected as the new Vice President of the Parish Council and receiving a blessing from Archbishop Mark, Justin Scott was formally installed into his new role.

We also prayed for a spiritually and intellectually beneficial school year for our teachers and students.

May the Lord grant them all many and blessed years!"

Justin Scott, the new Parish Council VP, and Fr. Aleksey are standing, facing each other and holding papers. They're both wearing light blue vestments. Parishoners can be seen standing in pews in the background, along with murals of saints on the wall between stained glass windows, and a portion of the choir loft appears in the upper left corner.

Justin Scott and Fr. Aleksey appear as in the previous photo except that Fr. Aleksey is now facing the camera.

View from the front of the church, with Fr. Aleksey in the center of the left half of the frame. He's holding a prayer book. Several people are gathered around and behind him with Justin Scott standing directly behind him at a distance of about 5 or 6 feet. The others are standing closer to Justin than to Fr. Aleksey. People in pews appear in the background, and in the very back, towards the left center of frame, light is entering through main entrance to the church, where the door on the left is open.

A view very similar to the one in the previous photo except that this picture was taken from directly in front of Fr. Aleksey, so everyone is visible in a more straight-on manner, and now the choir loft is also visible, with a man on either side looking down toward the center table, where Fr. Aleksey is reading.
